The lamp unfolds, revealing itself through a slow movement that stretches and releases, blooming and coming into full flower. Within it, a feeling takes root—a light that finds its way outward, emerging as best it can through the veil that envelops it.
At its summit, the pistil is modest yet sincere, its striated texture embraced by a collar woven with countless veins. Following these delicate lines, one discovers a network that connects each alveolus to the next, tracing graceful, sinuous contours around the lampshade.
Nestled within these teardrop-shaped cells are translucent shells of holm oak, glowing with a warm amber light. Their sanded finish accentuates the wood’s natural grain, revealing an extraordinary delicacy through a translucency unique to the material itself.
The lamp’s neck, formed by two sweeping aluminium curves, bridges the head and the base, and can be detached when needed. From above, a soft, gentle light cascades along the ramp of the base, blending into its subtle gradient before slipping through a narrow opening to rejoin the heart of the plant.
